Agent Relief Foundation (ARF) is Nonprofit organization

The Agent Relief Foundation (ARF) is a non-profit organization that was formally established in January 2016. ARF is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization established with a mission to fostering sustainable development and improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable communities particularly Internally Displaced Persons, women, children, marginalized communities, and other disadvantaged groups in Somalia.

The main core purposes of the organization are to meet and realize the immediate goals, objectives and set the future plans and priorities. ARF will develop the capacity and resilience of Somalia citizens and partnership with organization in humanitarians and peace building context.

Climate Resilience and Environmental Sustainability

The global warming is a major challenge to the whole world mostly Somalia which is facing prolonged drought and famine. What we do: we engage in projects to degrade landscapes which will restore rainwater harvesting and soil improvements. This will lead to regrowth of vegetation and improved soil conditions. When vegetation is restored and soils are improved, the water cycle will be restored. This is the key to sustainable re greening and contributing to regional cooling and more equally distributed rain
